I thought I would just post a photo of my credential, or pilgrim passport, after the first part of the pilgrimage. You have to have one of these credentials to be an official pilgrim, and to get the benefits, like use of hostels, reduced rates on menus, and ultimately the Compostela certificate at the end of the pilgrimage.
Fr Julian Green is a Catholic Parish Priest in North Staffordshire. He is embarking on walking the Vía de la Plata and Camino Sanabrés from Seville to Santiago de Compostela between November 2019 to October 2020. He is doing this in memory of Jack Shufflebotham RIP, a young man of 20 who died in September 2019, after a four year battle with Leukaemia. Please sponsor Fr Julian in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust.
